Potassium lactate, also name as 2-Hydroxypropanoic acid, transparent and colorless or substantially colorless viscous liquid, odorless or slightly unpleasant odor, soluble in water, the use of non-toxic, non-irritating, non-allergic.

 

As an antioxidant and synergist, widely used in food and other industries. It can be used as flavoring agents; emulsifiers; antioxidant synergists; hygroscopic agent; pH adjusting agents; flavoring agents; buffers. Mainly used for jam, jelly, Orange jelly and ice cream. According to production needs proper use. Used as a humectant, glycerol can be used as a substitute.
